An effective clarifier for your pool water

These are slow-dissolving clarification tablets packaged in a 100g sock. Regular use of Clarification Socks reduces disinfectant consumption.

Product application tips

We recommend applying the Clarification Sock at the discharge point of your pool, so that it benefits from the flow of water to spread quickly throughout your pool. The clarifier can then create agglomerates with the matter suspended in your water which can then be retained in your filtration.

Caution! Do not use clarifier if you have a diatomaceous earth/zeolite filter because it could clog it irreparably and in any case clarification is useless given the fineness of the filtration.

How does clarification work?

To put it simply, without going into a too scientific description, clarification is a type of chemical process generally used to clean, clarify or purify water.

The principle: when in contact with water, the flocculent material will mutate into “flakes” around which the particles in suspension will cling, agglomerate and coagulate.

For your pool water, this process is used to gather the fine particles in suspension in your water to form larger particles that can be recovered in your filtration. Overall, clarification will improve the filtration of your water, which will give you clearer, more transparent and limpid water.
