Sanitizing with bromine has become more popular, particularly in spa and indoor pool applications. Bromine will not cause the sometimes offensive odor and skin irritation. In addition, unlike chlorine, when bromine combines with bather wast and other contaminants in the water, it remains a very effective sanitizer.

 

Bromine is also far less pH-dependent than chlorine. ClearView Bromine Tabs are applied to the water through a floater. This floater gradually releases the bromine and maintains a constant level of bromine in the water. When using Bromine Tabs in a spa, it is recommended to add Sodium Bromide when first filling spa to ensure a fully bromine-based sanitizer system.
